Since 1999, Haewon Biotech has specialized in marine biotechnology, focusing on research, development, and commercialization of high-quality marine ingredients. Haewon Biotech became the first company in the Republic of Korea to successfully bring fucoidan derived from brown algae to the market.

Our research and development efforts are not limited to macroalgae. The company actively expands into microalgae, including Haematococcus pluvialis — one of the most valuable natural sources of astaxanthin.
